CHENNAI: Chennai Super Kings coach Kepler Wessels on Thursday said his team has a plan in place to deal with the departure of Australian stars Matthew Hayden and Michael Hussey for Friday's Indian Premier League match against Delhi Daredevils.

Wessels said his team has enough depth in both batting and bowling and it would be able to cope with the Hayden and Hussey's exit.

"(Stephen) Fleming will open tomorrow. We of course knew that the Australians would be returning home and had a plan in place. I think, the replacements are very good, but we will decide on the playing eleven closer to the start of the game," he said.

Wessels, however, said the unbeaten hosts could not afford to take the Daredevils lightly.

"Delhi team has a strong batting and bowling strength but we have equally strong players to deal with that," he said.

"They boast of a strong opening pair in skipper Virender Sehwag and in-form Gautam Gambhir, besides a very efficient bowling attack spearheaded by Glenn McGrath. McGrath is a very experienced player. He might have retired (internationally) but he is still very good. This is something we have to deal with," he added.

As for Manpreet Singh Goni's fitness, the Coach said, "A final decision on Goni will be taken tonight. There is only one vacancy, but we will finalise tomorrow".

On Lakshmipathi Balaji, who is on a combeback trail following a stress fracture, the South African said, "Balaji is not yet match fit and hence will not be playing tomorrow".
