MUMBAI: The Goa police have sent the blood samples of Scarlette to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina for tests.
Initially, the police had approached the forensic lab in Hyderabad. But they were apparently told that they would have to wait for two years for the results. It was then that the Goa police decided to get the forensic test done in Kalina.
The FSL has promised to give the report by next week, said Dr Rukhmini Krishnamuthy, director of Kalina FSL. The lab will do toxicology tests to find the exact cause of death. “The tests will show if the victim had been drugged or poisoned or if she was drunk,” she said.
