BRISBANE: Although India are leading the best-of-three Commonwealth Bank Triangular Series finals 1-0, their opponents Australia have a better record when the two teams have clashed in the title rounds of the annual cricket competition Down Under.

This is the fourth time the two teams are meeting in the finals since 1980-81 when India first took part in the triangular series and on all three previous occasions Australia have won the title easily.

But India have the momentum as was evident from the way they played in the first final and won it convincingly by six wickets. As the two teams go into the crucial second final here Tuesday, India will be keen to win that match too and make history as they have never won the annual triangular series.

Australia have a better home as well as overall record than India, having won 74.29 and 60.00 percent of the matches.
