LUCKNOW: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday criticised both the Central and the Uttar Pradesh government for dealing with serious issue like terrorism 'softly'.

'' Both the governments are behaving in an irresponsible manner to fight terrorism...this has resulted in increasing terrorist activities in the state,'' BJP state unit vice president and spokesperson Hridey Narayan Dixit said here.

The political parties, comprising the Congress, the Samajwadi Praty (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) are not making efforts to nab the shelter providers of terrorists due to their vote bank politics, the BJP leader alleged.

Terrorism and welfare of farmers would be the main issues in the two-day party's working committee meet on March 8 in Gorakhpur, Mr Dixit informed.

The new Budget has not waived off all the loans of the farmers, he said.

Corruption has reached to its peak in the present Mayawati regime, the BJP leader added.
