Parents angry as kids beaten up by teachers

THANE: Parents of school children here are angry since two more incidents of teachers beating up the kids have come to light here.
  
In the first incident, Harshad Chavan, a first standard student of a school at Lokmanya Nagar here, was allegedly struck by his teacher with a scale.
  
In another incident, Mayuri Jadhav, a second standard student of a school in Ambernath, was allegedly caned by her dance teacher for failing to synchronise her steps during the dancing lessons. The girl had to receive treatment from the Civil Hospital.
