President visits Aurangabad on Sunday

JALGAON: After a two-day tour to Jalgaon, president of India Pratibha Patil will leave for Aurangabad at 1000 hrs, on Sunday.

During the visit to her hometown, Jalgaon, Patil met more than two thousand people, where she was felicitated by the Jalgaon Corporation and Raosaheb Rupchad Vidyalaya as it was her alma-mater.

Patil also visited a few places like Mehun, Kothali and Muktainagar's temple of Sant Muktai.

Guardian Minister Dr Vijaykumar Gavit, Mayor Tanuja Tadvi, Nasik division's commissioner Dr Sanjay Chahande and Education Minister Vasant Purke, on behalf of the chief minister, were present at the Jalgaon airport to receive the president.
