HYDERABAD: Senior BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday challenged the CPI(M) to withdraw support to the UPA government at the Centre if it was dissatisfied with the performance of the Congress led government.

He wondered how could the Left continue support to the UPA government after accusing it failure on all fronts.

Charging that the Left parties were adopting double standards by continuing their support even while criticising the government on all issues, he said the Left parties' plan was to continue support till  the last moment and ditch the Congress and float a third front  on the eve of next Lok Sabha polls.

He said the Left would not be able to convince the people as they were equally responsible for the omissions and commissions of the UPA government.
