BANGALORE: Denmark Prime Minsiter Anders Fogh Rasmussen arrived here in the early hours of Monday on a six-day state visit to India.
  
Accompanied by his wife Anne-Mette Rasmussen and a business delegation, the Prime Minister landed here to a warm welcome at the HAL Airport amid tight security.
  
Karnataka Personnel Secretary Jayadev, senior police officers and Danish Ambassador to India were among those who received the visiting dignitory.
  
During his two-day stay in India's Silicon Valley, the Denmark Prime Minister will visit the premises of IT bellwether Infosys and Biotech Giant Biocon at the Electronics City.
 
Mr Rasmussen will also deliver a speech on 'Making the Most of Globalisation -- Spreading the Benefits and Mitigating the Risks' at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
  
Mr Rasmussen will be in New Delhi from February six to eight when he will visit the world-famous Taj Mahal with his wife.
