MUMBAI: Mumbaikars experienced light rain shower and cold wind waves scintillated the island city on Sunday morning.
Official of Met Department told that Western region disturbance led to a mild drizzle measuring less than 0.5 mm, resulting to an increase in the relative humidity.
The region has been experiencing chilly weather for more than two weeks.
Earlier, the coldest day in last 45 years was recorded in this month when mercury dipped as low as 10.5 degree Celsius.
Colaba in the southern part of the city today recorded a maximum temperature of 28.0 degree Celsius and minimum of 17.6 degree Celsius, while Santacruz recorded a maximum of 29.5 degrees and minimum of 16.5 degree Celsius.
Cold waves will continue for a couple of days, informed the official.
