BJP's role in post-Godhra riots cannot be washed off: Gehlot

JAIPUR: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and AICC General Secretary Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday said whatever the BJP and its Government had done during the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat cannot be washed off.
    
Addressing a state level meet of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee's (PCC) legal cell, Gehlot urged partymen to work together to expose the BJP and to create awareness among the people about BJP misrule in Rajasthan as well.
    
Every Congress worker should think in terms of consolidating the party's position in Rajasthan, he said and stressed upon the need for taking the policies and good work of the party to the common man.
    
He also said that adovcates belonging to the legal cell of the party should play a constructive role in taking the party ahead among the people of the state.
    
PCC President C P Joshi who also spoke at the meet alleged that the Vasundhara Raje-led BJP Government had failed on all fronts in the past four years of its tenure.
