Tata Steel launches medical data website

JAMSHEDPUR: The Tata Main Hospital (TMH) here has a new medical internet database which can be accessed at 'Md Consult.com' site.
    
The facility will provide quick access to 10,000 patient education hand-outs, 1,000 practice guidelines, 50,000 images of various patients and techniques, 31 clinics of North America, 51 reference books, 31 year books, 46 journals in addition to latest medical news and Continuing Medical Education (CME), a Tata release said on Thursday.
    
It was inaugurated by Partha Sengupta, Vice-President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel, on Thursday.
    
Sengupta lauded the efforts to make the latest medical information available to medical personnel and employees of Tata Steel in Jamshedpur, the release said.
    
The Tata Main Hospital is planning to extend the innovative facility to other locations of Tata Steel, it said.
