Eunuch burnt alive by lover after argument

A 35-year-old eunuch was burnt alive in her house at Reti Bunder by her lover after a heated argument. Kiran Golambe was killed by Dilip Patel, 33, on Sunday
afternoon after  Patel doused kerosene on Golambe and set her ablaze.

Golambe and Patel got into a heated argument after Golambe asked Patel to vacate her house where he  and his wife has been  staying for 15 days.

During police interrogation, Patel revealed that he and Golambe were in a relationship since fifteen years.

Patel and his wife had moved in with Golambe after he was forced to vacate his house in Mumbra, as he was unable to pay rent.

Patel told the police that he had married seven years back but still maintained his relationship with Golambe. He also said that they used to quarrel very often.

“We have arrested Patel and he has confessed that he had a sexual relationship with the victim. He has been remanded in police custody till Friday” said PI Vijay Panjrapatte from the Mumbra police station.

Meanwhile, in another incident at Bhandup a 45-year-old eunuch was found dead in the Konkan Nagar locality on Wednesday morning. Asha Mausi, a resident of Gadhav Naka was found dead at 6.30 am.

The post-mortem of the body revealed that she was tuberculosis patient and had died due bursting of  her lungs.
