MUMBAI: Bhavika Badlani and Pradeep Karnik will organise a painting exhibition at RA Lounge, Phoenix Mills Compund at Lower Parel, on October 20 and 21. The duo is exhibiting works of artists from Indore region such as Meera Gupta, Alok Sharma, Shrenik Jain, Wasim Kapoor, Bratin Khan, Ramesh Kher and Harendra Shah among others.

Named Chrysalis, the exhibition is an effort to give emerging talented artists a chance to showcase their works in front of art connoisseurs of Mumbai. By bringing their works to Bombay and arranging a show, the organisers have given a platform to these artists to display their paintings.

The show will also have works of Seema Goyal who in spite of being physically-challenged has not allowed her handicap to limit her creativity but has channelised the pain to give artistic expression to her agony and ecstasy.  If for no other reason, the show is a must-see, for it gives one an opportunity to see the works of artists from a region that has produced talents such as MF Husain and NS Bendre.
