JOHANNESBURG: The Indian team management is yet to take a decision on whether to include an injured Virender Sehwag in the team for the final of the Twenty20 cricket World Cup against arch-rivals Pakistan here on Monday.

The Indian opener is nursing a groin injury and will have to clear a fitness test just before the high-voltage game and sources said there was a 50-50 chance that he could take the field.

Sehwag picked up the injury while batting in Saturday's semifinal match against Australia, after which he had to take a runner.

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is hopeful that the Delhi batsman would clear the fitness test.

"Hopefully he should be fine," Dhoni had said on Sunday.

The match is unlikely to be affected by weather conditions with the Met department predicting a bright and sunny day.
