IIT Kanpur students win Lucas TVS innovation award

Three students of IIT Kanpur have won 'Lucas TVS Innovation Award' at the national level design contest for engineering students, conducted by Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

CHENNAI: Three students of IIT Kanpur have won 'Lucas TVS Innovation Award' at the national level design contest for engineering students, conducted by Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

The students, Manoj Kumar Tripathy, Abhishek and Rahul Sharma of IIT Kanpur, secured first position and won the cash prize of Rs one lakh, a PDMA release said.
  
The second prize of Rs 50,000 was bagged by Mayank Jain of Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Technology, New Delhi. The prize was sponsored by R M K Engineering College.

The third prize of Rs 35,000, sponsored by R M D Engineering College, was shared by Easwari Engineering college and Meenakshi Sundaresan College, it added.
