British Airways rolls out special fares for Aug 15

Passengers flying British Airways between August 15 and September 30 would be able to avail of the 'World Traveller Plus' fare, the airline informed.

NEW DELHI: British Airways has launched a special scheme to celebrate 60 years of India's independence, under which it is offering premier economy cabin return trip tickets to the UK starting at Rs 36,000.

Passengers flying British Airways between August 15 and September 30 would be able to avail of the 'World Traveller Plus' fare, the airline informed.

World Traveller Plus is a premier economy cabin aimed at catering to the cost-conscious business traveller.

"To celebrate India's 60th year of Independence, we are pleased to offer an opportunity to our customers to enjoy the world traveller plus experience," British Airways Area Commercial Manager South Asia Amanda Amos said.

India continues to be a focus area for British Airways and the airline is constantly looking at providing innovative schemes to the Indian traveller, he said.

The British airline has been operating in the country for the past 78 years and currently has 43 flights a week from London to five Indian cities.
