SAHARSA: Police suspect that a seven-year-old schoolboy, missing from this north Bihar district headquarter town, has been kidnapped.

Saurabh, the son of a truck owner Lalit Kumar Yadav, is missing since last evening from Gangjala locality of Saharsa, DIG (Kosi range) Shahab Akhtar told.

A class two student of the local DAV school, he was last sighted playing in front of his house.

The boy's father, who owns three trucks and is engaged in transporting foodgrains from the godowns of Food Corporation of India and state food corporation to the dealers, has registered a case of kidnapping.

Akhtar said police suspected business rivalry as the reason behind the incident.

Efforts are on to recover the boy, he added.

Meanwhile, police have failed to make any breakthrough regarding Akash, a standarad seven student of DAV school, from Shastri Nagar locality of Patna.
   
Akash, the son of a government employee Yogendra Pandey was kidnapped by three abductors who came in a car when he was on way to school from his house at Chanakya Puri in Raja Bazaar locality on a bicycle.
