Skoda to launch small car in India

Skoda India Managing Director Karsten Bogun said the 'Skodafabia' would be introduced after some technological changes by the end of this year.

JAIPUR: Czech carmaker Skoda on Tuesday said it would soon launch its first small car 'Skodafabia' in the country.

Addressing a press conference here today, Skoda India Managing Director Karsten Bogun said the car would be introduced in the Indian market after some technological changes in it to cope with the conditions by the end of this year.

He said that the car was well-accepted globally and the company was confident it would get the same response from the Indian customers.

"It will have veritable advantage over its competitors in terms of its world class technology, quality and space offering," Bogun said.

Bogun was here on the occasion of opening of a new dealership of Skoda India.
