ATS arrests two persons with detonators

MUMBAI: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Mumbai police have arrested two persons with four boxes of 370 detonators from the Vikhroli area of suburban in Mumbai.

Police sources said the two daily wage labourers Laxman Kamble (55) and Subhash Gaikwad (36) were arrested on Saturday afternoon near the BEST bus route number 373 at Mulund-Goregaon link road junction on the Eastern Express Highway.

Apart from the four boxes of 370 detonators, they were also in possession of five gelatine sticks and 68 live detonators with white batteries, police said.
