HOWRAH (WB): Congress activists protesting against the police action in Nandigram obstructed road and rail movement at several places in West Bengal's Howrah district on Thursday.

Congress activists put up road blockade for two hours at Bagnan-Manpur on the NH 6. Traffic was held up due to the road blockade, police sources said.

Congress activists led by Councillor Sheikh Salim obstructed train movement on the Howrah-Kharagpur section of South Eastern Railway by squatting in the tracks at Chengail railway station, railway sources said.
