MONTEGO BAY: Speedster Sreesanth broke into an impromptu breakdance as the Indian cricketers, here for the World Cup, celebrated Holi to the tune of the "rang barse, bheege chunarwali ...".

With a rucksack hanging from his shoulders and designer glasses pushed onto his head, Sreesanth, who once took dance classes in his native Kerala, danced along with his teammates and other members of the Indian community with colours.

"It's a fantastic feeling," said Sreesanth, as his teammates Dinesh Karthik and Robin Uthappa agreed with him.

With the famous Holi film song "rang barse, bheege chunarwali, rang barse" from the 1908s Amitabh Bhachchan-starrer 'Silsilay' playing in the background, the Indian players enjoyed Holi as they danced and mingled with the local Indians joining in.

Montego Bay has a large community of Telugus and Sindhis among a few hundreds Indians. While there are a large number of Telugu-speaking doctors, Sindhis own many shops and boutiques in this pleasure ground of the rich and famous from the US.

The Indian team, which reached here Friday, will play their first warm-up match against the Netherlands, one the five qualifiers in the 16-nation tournament, here Tuesday.

India are the finalists of the 2003 World Cup. They lost to Australia in Johannesburg.

India are placed in Group B along with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands and Bermuda, another qualifier. They play their first match against Bangladesh at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The final will be played in Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, April 28.

This is the first time the World Cup is being held in the West Indies, which won the World Cup in 1975 and 1979.
