Fielding can cost us the World Cup: Kapil Dev

NEW DELHI: Kapil Dev has said the Indian cricket team's poor fielding  skills and running between the wicket could cost them the World Cup in the Caribbean.

"Our running between the wickets and fielding can cost us the world cup," he said.

Kapil Dev, the captain of the team which won the World Cup in 1983, said he was  satisfied with team's performance with the bat and bowl.

"Our batting and bowling is fine but seniors like Sachin and Sourav should chip in with vital inputs to help the captain."

He also said that stars players should not have any ego and national duty should come first," he said .
