DEHRA DUN: Bharatiya Janshakti President Uma Bharti on Wednesday sought support from the RSS pleading that her party was following the true ideology of Hindutva.

"Our party is a just 10-month-old baby and we do not have the resources and money like Congress and BJP. We have only national perspective. Hindutva and ideology are our wealth... our responsibility lies on your shoulders and you give us your blessings and cooperation," Bharti said in an open letter to newly appointed BJP general secretary (organisation) Ramlal.

Before joining BJP, Ramlal was an active RSS leader.

Alleging that BJP was adopting bad tactics to finish her party, Bharti requested Ramlal to provide patronage to her party in order to uphold the values of Hindutva.

Her letter has been made public during a press conference here.

She described former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as 'helpless' in the party, attacked former deputy prime minister LK Advani.

Bharti dismissed as propaganda the reports of her joining back BJP and said there is no truth in such reports.

She also denied the reports that she had allegedly taken a bribe of Rs20 to 30 crore from Congress to defeat BJP in the coming elections.
