MUMBAI: The National Association for the Blind (NAB) on Monday appealed to citizens of Mumbai to exercise their franchise on February 1 in large number for the speedy development of the metropolis.

Addressing media persons at a press conference organised by Property Redevelopers Association (PRA), NAB general secretary Dr Rajendra Vyas said, "We complain about all that is wrong with our city but never turn out in large numbers to vote in the civic elections to choose right candidates for the development of our respective wards." 

PRA general secretary Haresh Mehta said local corporators can play a dominant role in facilitating interaction with the concerned corporation officials for the development of the city.
