ISRO defers GSLV cryogenic stage test

The Indian Space Research Organisation on Friday deferred the much-awaited full-duration test of its indigenous cryogenic stage for the GSLV due to anomalous readings.

MAHENDRAGIRI (Tamil Nadu): The Indian Space Research Organisation on Friday deferred the much-awaited full-duration test of its indigenous cryogenic stage for the Geo-Synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle due to anomalous readings.
 
ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair said, ''We could not go through the long duration test because we found some anomalous readings.
 
''We will conduct the full duration test in three to four weeks.'’
 
The various parameters were tested. The engines were also tested.
 
''But we could not go for long duration as we found some anomalous readings,'' he said.
