Seven injured in grenade blast in Baramulla

SRINAGAR: At least seven persons were injured when a militant threw a grenade at the security forces in Baramulla district on Tuesday, officials said.

A militant threw a grenade on security forces at Azadgunj area of the town, 55 kms from here, around 11 am in which seven persons were injured, they said.

The forces immediately sealed the area and launched a combing operation to nab the culprits.

No militant outfit has, so far, owned responsibility for the act.
