NEW DELHI: Two suspected Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were arrested on Monday night from outside the Old Delhi railway station and two kilograms of RDX were seized from them, police said.

The two, in their mid-30s, landed in the police net as they were waiting for someone outside the station after arriving by the Kalka Delhi Mail, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar said.

Police had prior information about their arrival and were waiting outside the station, he added.

The identities of the arrested militants were not revealed by police immediately and they did not rule out the possibility of more arrests.

"We are trying to find out what their mission was and who are their contacts here," Kumar added.

Special Cell sleuths had on November 16 arrested two suspected Lashkar-e-Tayiba militants with a huge quantity of explosives in northwest Delhi and claimed to have foiled a major terrorist plot to carry out attacks in the city.
