KARACHI: Wiser from the Indian cricket team's miserable show in South Africa, Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul Haq wants his team to have ample match practice before taking on the home team early next year.

Inzamam said Pakistan would try to go to South Africa a couple of weeks before the start of the opening Test on January 11 in Centurion to acclimatise with the conditions there, Inzamam said.

"We will go around 15 days before the start of the Test series against South Africa to get ample match practice there," he was quoted as saying by 'The News'.

Critics have suggested that Inzamam's team would struggle on fast and bouncy wickets like the Indians have done in the matches so far.

Inzamam, however, said he was still not thought about the tour yet.

"We are still in the middle of the home series (against the West Indies) and not very bothered about the tour of South Africa," he said.
