AHMEDABAD: A bomb scare that delayed the New Delhi-bound Ashram Express for over two hours on Monday, turned out to be a hoax.
Bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs were pressed into service and nothing was recovered, a railway spokesperson said.
The train finally left Ahmedabad station at 7.56pm, two hours and eleven minutes behind schedule.
Earlier, GRP got the information that a bomb had been planted on the train. All passengers were offloaded from the train and bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs were pressed into service.
