Three arrested in Mysore for helping Pak militants

BANGALORE: Three men were arrested in Mysore on Sunday on the charge of fabricating false records and aiding one of two Pakistani militants nabbed last week in obtaining forged documents.

Sadiq, Gopal and Nanjappa were arrested for helping terrorist Mohammed Ali Hussain get a ration card, birth certificate and domicile certificate and in filing his passport application, Karnataka Police chief B S Sial informed.

Based on the false certificates, Sadiq got Hussain's passport application form prepared and tried to get him a passport. But his application was rejected by police during verification, Sial said.

Hussain and Mohammed Fahad, both suspected members of the Pakistan-based Al Badr terror group, were arrested in Mysore on Friday.
