MUMBAI: A Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act court on Friday adjourned till October 19 the Central Bureau of Investigation's plea to take 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts accused Abu Salem to Lucknow for probe into a passport forgery case.
The CBI had pleaded that they had to take Salem to Lucknow to comparie his signature with that given in his alleged bogus passport issued in Uttar Pradesh.
Designated judge PD Kode adjourned to October 19 the plea of Delhi police to seek custody of Salem in a criminal case.
Salem is facing charges of conspiracy in 1993 bomb blasts case and delivering arms to co-accused and actor Sanjay Dutt prior to the blasts.
