NEW DELHI: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, gained over 94 points on Tuesday in early trade on heavy buying by funds.
The 30-share sensitive index rose by 94.20 points at 11,605.88 in the first five minute of trading as heavyweights like Wipro, TCS, ONGC, NTPC surged, lifting their market capitalisation to a record high.
Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty shot up by 27.05 points at 3,393.05 points.
