Baghdad suicide blast kills 42

BAGHDAD: At least 42 people were killed and 65 wounded when a suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden minibus in a crowded Baghdad market on Sunday, police said, citing reports from three hospitals.

"It was a suicide attack. A man parked a minibus is a busy street next to a police station, where day labourers were waiting for work. He wasn't aiming for police, he wanted to kill as many people as possible," an officer said.
