Actor Aamir Khan has bought the house belonging to the parents of director Homi Adajania in Panchgani. Khan had got married to Kiran Rao at this property on December 28, 2005.

A source said Aamir paid Rs7 crore to buy this plot, which is estimated to be two acres. The house has at least four rooms, a huge garden complete with hammocks and swings and a well in the backyard. In all the house has a typically Parsi feel to it.

“While negotiations between Aamir and Adajania’s family were on for the last three months, the final deal is supposed to have taken place on July 10,” the source said. He bought the house not just because he got married at that place but because his son Junaid and daughter Ira were fond of the place.

Last year, when the press had been taken to Adajania’s house to interview with Saif Ali Khan for the film Being Cyrus, Adajania had admitted that the family planned to sell the property.
