Arms, explosives recovered in J&K

Security forces have recovered a large quantity of arms and explosives, including six rockets and four kgs of RDX, from militant hideouts in Rajouri and Doda districts, defence sources said here today.

JAMMU: Security forces have recovered a large quantity of arms and explosives, including six rockets and four kgs of RDX, from militant hideouts in Rajouri and Doda districts, defence sources said here today.

Based on specific information, security forces busted a natural cave type of hideout in Sardhar forest in Budhal area of Rajouri district on Friday, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included one RPG launcher, six rockets, six rocket boosters, four kgs of RDX, four Chinese grenades and timers.

The forces also busted a hideout at Gantak Nallah in Doda district on Saturday morning and recovered one 303 rifle with some ammunition, they said.
