Robert Reid wants to train Indian basketball team

NBA legend Robert Keith Reid, who was recently in India for a three-day basketball clinic in Ludhiana, expressed his desire to coach the Indian basketball team.

NEW DELHI: NBA legend Robert Keith Reid, who was recently in India for a three-day basketball clinic in Ludhiana, expressed his desire to coach the Indian basketball team.
    
Known as the king of rebound attack, Reid would like to carry forward from where he left, at the 57th National Junior Basketball Championship.
 
Reid, who imparted knowledge on basketball to 40 coaches and 70 players in June, said many players in the United States were interested in conducting basketball clinics in India.
    
"Back home in US, people and former NBA players were curious to know the state of affairs. In fact, some of my fellow players have also expressed their desire to come and conduct clinics for various age groups in India," said Reid.
 
Reid had a stellar career in the prestigious NBA basketball league in the US and he is a name to reckon with in basketball coaching in the US.
