The ‘Miilee’ actor will visit her grandfather’s birthplace during her shoot in Pakistan

Actor Mona Wasu, popularly recognized as Miilee, is now gearing up to shoot for her Pakistani serial ‘Rukhe Naina’, a 13-episode show. Mona says, “I am looking forward to this serial because my character will be a complete departure from the tomboy that I essayed in ‘Miilee’. I will be playing a very feminine character who speaks chaste Urdu with nazaqat.”

Besides, Mona is also excited about shooting in Pakistan for a special reason. “I will be visiting a place called Wasu, 150 km away from Islamabad. My grandfather hailed from there. I want to see the place where my forefathers lived.”

Mona will begin shooting in mid-July. Meanwhile, the actor is happy that she has found time to learn swimming and driving as a preparation for her forthcoming film debut.
