BAGHDAD: Gunmen wearing commando uniforms snatched at least 50 people, including two Syrians, from travel agencies in central Baghdad on Monday, said an official with the defense ministry.
The gunmen pulled up in six civilian cars to Salhiya street which is lined with travel agencies popular with Iraqis looking to leave the country.
The victims include drivers, employees of the agencies and customers at the agencies.
