Fire guts two oil mills in Latur

LATUR: A major fire broke out in the godowns of Om Enterprises and Tina Oil Mill, the two leading vanaspati oil distributors, situated at Ganjgolai Market in Latur on Monday.

The fire broke out at about 0500 hrs.

At least five fire engines from Latur and neighbouring Osmanabad towns have rushed to the spot and are busy trying to put the blaze under control. No casualty was reported in the mishap, sources in the fire brigade said.

The exact cause of the fire and possible damage is yet to be ascertained, sources added.
