Two collegians held for stalking schoolgirl in Pune

The Hadapsar police have arrested two college students for allegedly stalking a standard X girl studying in a reputed school. The arrested students were identified as Sandesh Shivsharan Harijan (19) and Dhananjay Ankush Shinde (22).

The incident came to light, when the 15-year-old victim lodged a complaint with the Hadapsar police. The police laid a trap near the girl’s school and zeroed in on the duo. “The arrested youths are studying in a Pimpri Chinchwad based college. The girl had gone to Pimpri to visit a relative where Dhananjay stopped her way. Sandesh held her hand and also told her that he wanted her as his life partner. When the girl did not respond, both started stalking her,” sub-inspector Bhushan Pawar said.
