Tired of ailments, retired doctor commits suicide

A 77-year-old retired MBBS doctor, Arun Bhave allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the eight floor of his residence at Swapna Shilp Apartment , near Warje ward office in Kothrud today morning at around 6.30. 

As per Kothrud police, Bhave was suffering from various ailments and was fed up of life. He left a suicide note stating that he is committing suicide and no one should be held responsible for his act. 

Senior police inspector, Suryakant Kamble said,

" Bhave jumped from the balcony of his eight floor flat at 6.30 am and died on the spot.  "When he was jumping from the balcony, his wife saw him and raised the alarm, however it was too late," he said. 

As per the cops, Bhave and his wife live in the Swapna Shilp whereas his son and his family lives in another society in the same vicinity. 

Dr Bhave fell into the duct  of two buildings of the society and died on the spot. His body has been sent for the post mortem.
