Journalists keep getting press notes everyday, but seldom are some as entertaining as one we received from the public relations officer of the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT). The press release announced a very important event that happened in the house of Vishwanath Karad, founder and director general of the institute.
This event was, hold your breath, that the bonsai plumeria planted by his wife on the terrace of their house, had parts that looked like the horns found on cows and buffaloes. It also called the event vanaspati shashtra madhla chamatkar (botanical miracle)!
Really, this is the sign we have been waiting for. The saviour is coming. He will rid the world by piercing all those who commit evil, evil deeds with horns like those of cows and buffaloes, just like the ones seen on the chamatkari bonsai plant. Heady stuff this, people. Heady stuff.
