A cross-country flying expedition called Diamond Triangle Expedition that reached National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla after being flagged off from Mhow, Madhya Pradesh on Friday conducted an air show at NDA on Sunday. It will fly to Belgaum on February 1 and Jabalpur on February 11 to
conduct air shows.

The expedition is a part of the centenary celebration of the Corps of Signals of Indian Army, which was raised in 1911. The national-level aero event has been organised by Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow, which is a premiere training institution of the corps and the Indian Army.

The expedition involves flying by a fleet of four microlight aircraft and two powered Hang Gliders over a distance of 2,700 km approximately in 8 days. The cross country flying will cover Mhow, Pune, Belgaum, Goa and Jabalpur, besides many other cities .

The aim of this expedition is to spread the message of peace and bonhomie through the medium of adventure sports, said a press release.

Lt Gen Jatinder Singh, Commandant, NDA applauded the team for their performance and presented a memento to team leader
Lt Col MS Chawla.
