Woman arrested in Jain temple trustee's murder

The sleuths of Bhayandar police station in Thane rural have succeeded in solving the mysterious brutal murder of a trustee of Jain temple who was hacked to death and have arrested one lady from Nalasopara.

The sleuths of Bhayandar police station in Thane rural have succeeded in solving the mysterious brutal murder of a trustee of Jain temple who was hacked to death and have arrested one lady from Nalasopara.
 
According to Bhayandar police, arrested accused was identified as Anita Jadhav (37), resident of Evershine Nagar in Nalasopara. Though she has confessed to murder with robbery as intention, police are also verifying other possible motives behind her act.
 
On December 29, Raju Shah (54), resident of Devchand nagar Bhayandar west was found murder in his office. Raju was working as local estate agent and also a trustee of Bhatewa Parshwanath Jain temple.
 
The assailants had robbed gold ornaments worth rs 4.40 lakhs on him before leaving his office.
One empty syringe was found near his dead body. It is believed that, Raju was drugged before he was killed.
 
“During preliminary investigation by the police, it was revealed that, Anita, who also works as estate agent, had visited Raju's office at the time of incident.  Anita was to join Raju's office as an employee from the New Year which drew suspicion on her,”  said Sunil Wadke, senior inspector of Bhayandar police station.
 
“She is widow and has three children and we are also verifying illicit relationship angle, “added Wadke.
 
When asked about the syringe, Wadke informed that, police are awaiting for chemical analysis report after which they will come to conclusion about syringe.
 
“We are also trying to identify and arrest her accomplices involved in this crime,” said Ranjeet Sawant, assistant police inspector who is investigating the case.
