Wall collapses in Maharashtra; policeman killed, 4 injured

A policeman lost his life while four others were injured in a wall collapse in Gondia district of Maharashtra today, police said.

Dismantling of a house was on when one of its walls caved in, trapping the five, some of them passersby and a student, they said.

The deceased was identified as assistant sub-inspector KB Bawanthade, 52. The student, Nanda Ramesh Barwe, suffered critical injuries and was referred to Nagpur, police added.
