Swine Flue death toll rose to four in Kolhapur district yesterday with the death of a Rajaram Lahu Magar,24, a resident of Utre of Panhala tehsil.
Magar died yesterday, the district health department sources said today.
Today 12 people were examined for Swine Flue and nine of them were quarantined as suspected Swine Flue patients.
Health Department started treating them by giving Tamiflu tablets.
From the last year's Swine Flue outbreak, 4,353 people were examined in Kolhapur district. 141 of them were suspected with Swine Flue. 90 persons were admitted for treatment in the district hospital and 73 were discharged. 36 Swab samples were found positive.
Now, nine suspected Swine Flu patients are getting treatment in the hospital.
