Overwhelming response in Pune to the anti-tobacco campaign

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on May 31, DNA in association with some other organisations undertook an initiative to create awareness about the ill-effects of tobacco consumption.

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on May 31, DNA in association with some other organisations undertook an initiative to create awareness about the ill-effects of tobacco consumption and urged people to give up smoking. 

The initiative generated tremendous response.  Apart from DNA, Radio One, Café Coffee Day, Pune Central, Inorbit, Darshan Tyres and Sabby’s Tattoo Studio were a part of this initiative. 

Graffiti boards were kept at Pune Central (both at Bund Garden and University Road) and Inorbit Mall in Vimannagar and people were requested to sign the boards to show their support for the initiative. 

In the evening radio jockeys from Radio One visited these places and interacted with people and urged them to be a part of this initiative.
