The victim Karuna alias Bakka Durgam, who had given up arms in 2007, was dragged out of her house in Pentikaka village in interior Gadchiroli, beaten up and later gunned down by the Naxals late last night.

A group of armed Naxals allegedly killed a 22-year-old woman, a former outlaw who had surrendered before police, in Gadchiroli, police said today.
The victim Karuna alias Bakka Durgam, who had given up arms in 2007, was dragged out of her house in Pentikaka village in interior Gadchiroli, beaten up and later gunned down by the Naxals late last night, they said.
One Vinod Anna and his accomplices are allegedly involved in the killing, police said.
Further investigations are on.
