“Currently, we produce only paraffin wax made from petroleum products and vegetable wax. We have prepared a plan to use the waste coming from the sugar industry to prepare cane wax. One of the main advantages of it, is the eco-friendly nature of it and another feature is the process’s economical viability,” said Vikram Singh, team member of MANAGE.

“Our plan also includes the huge unemployed population of the country, which will be benefited from it. There is a huge potential, even for the wax industry and it has a lot of scope to expand,” added Singh.

The winners of the competition added that, the byproduct of the company would be used for compost preparation thereby ensuring no wastage.
