Despite the district suffering from nature's wrath in one way or the other for the last five years, the Annewari (value of crop) survey conducted by the district administration has estimated the average annewari in Yavatmal to be above 50%.

According to a report submitted by the district administration to the divisional commissioner, the average Annewari of Yavatmal district is pegged at 53%.

The higher Annewari which estimates possible crop yield would deprive farmers from getting financial aid from the Central and State Governments which decide on assistance only if the annewari is less than 50%.

Barring the lone tehsil of Digras, all the 15 tehsils and the villages in them are well off this year as per the survey report.
